💨 Abstract

India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited Islamabad for an SCO meeting, marking the first visit in nearly nine years. He had casual conversations with his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar on two occasions but there was no thaw in the frosty relations. The conversations were seen as positive signaling, but no formal bilateral meeting took place. Jaishankar described the visit as "productive".
