Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been invited to attend U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration on Jan. He is also seeking the return of his confiscated passport, which was retained due to an investigation into a 2023 coup plot. Bolsonaro is barred from running for political office in Brazil until 2030 and faces criminal charges for alleged coup planning.
