Former Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih criticized the current administration and President Mohammad Muizzu for pursuing agreements that Solih's party, People's National Congress (PNC), deemed a national security threat during the 2023 presidential campaign. Muizzu, who recently returned from a state visit to India, expressed gratitude for India's financial assistance and support.
