💨 Abstract
Two tourists, a French man and a German man, were arrested for unauthorized entry into the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, a site leased by Russia for space launches. They were caught attempting to view a Russian rocket during an "unauthorized walk" around the facility. Previously, other foreigners have been arrested for similar attempts, and a French citizen died of dehydration while attempting to walk there in June.
