💨 Abstract

A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was implemented on Sunday in Gaza, following 15 months of conflict. Thousands of Palestinians, including displaced people, celebrated and visited graves, while many returned to their homes. The truce paused a war that caused significant political change and displacement in Gaza. However, the destruction and losses suffered remain a concern for the 2.3 million inhabitants of Gaza.
