💨 Abstract
After a 15-month conflict, a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has allowed Palestinians in Gaza to return to their destroyed homes. The Israeli military reduced Gaza to vast tracts of rubble in its campaign against Hamas. Gazans are shocked by the total destruction and are struggling to recognize their neighborhoods. Many are clearing debris to return to the wreckage of their homes while others have set up tents next to the rubble.
