💨 Abstract

Germany is behind schedule in renovating dilapidated bridges by 2032, according to auditors. Only 69 of 280 structures scheduled for renovation in 2024 have been modernized. To meet the target, Autobahn GmbH, responsible for renovations, would need to modernize approximately 590 substructures per year.
