External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and US Ambassador Eric Garcetti jointly opened the US Consulate in Bangalore, India. Jaishankar announced that India will soon open a consulate in Los Angeles. He highlighted the importance of the opening in strengthening India-US ties and facilitating travel. Jaishankar also emphasized the expanding technology, defense, and education collaboration between the two countries.
