Guatemalan authorities arrested 25 active police officers and 11 civilians for their involvement in a human trafficking network that used U.S.-bound migrant routes. The network, known as "Los Rs," was accused of corruption, money laundering, and exploiting nearly 10,000 migrants. The U.S. embassy and Homeland Security collaborated in the investigation.
