Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's suggestion of renaming the Gulf of Mexico, stating that the current name is internationally recognized. Sheinbaum also made light of Trump's statement by suggesting that he was living in the past and that Mexico, not a former president, is in charge.
