Gunmen in Nigeria's Plateau state have killed at least 52 people and displaced nearly 2,000 others in a series of attacks, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). The attacks took place in six villages in Plateau's Bokkos district and are the worst outbreak of violence since December 2023, when over 100 people were killed in the same district.
