Gunfire was reported near Chad's presidential compound in N'Djamena on Wednesday evening, according to residents and AFP. Witnesses also saw convoys of military vehicles approaching the presidency. AFP, citing a security source, stated that armed men attacked the compound's interior. However, authorities have not issued any immediate comments.
