Hamas is set to release four female Israeli soldiers in exchange for 200 Palestinian prisoners, according to a ceasefire agreement aimed at ending the 15-month-old war in Gaza. The soldiers were abducted during an attack on Israel in October 2023. The ceasefire, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the US, has halted fighting for the first time since a truce in November 2023.
