Hurricane Helene caused devastation in the US Southeast, claiming at least 56 lives, displacing residents, and leaving millions without electricity. Rescue efforts are ongoing, with at least 10 deaths reported in North Carolina, 19 in South Carolina, 17 in Georgia, and 11 in Florida. The storm also resulted in a death in Virginia.
