💨 Abstract

The Honduran Supreme Court has declared unconstitutional laws permitting special economic zones, known as ZEDEs, which offer exemptions from national laws and taxes. These zones, which were established a decade ago, have been criticized by President Xiomara Castro for jeopardizing national sovereignty.
