Hong Kong's first high-profile transgender singer-songwriter, Xavian Wu, shared his journey of self-discovery and transition at the city's LGBTQ Pink Dot HK carnival. Wu, who uses the stage name SY, debuted in February and released songs about his experiences. He applied to change his gender on his ID card but is awaiting approval from the immigration department.
