Hungary suspects a "biological attack" as the cause of its first foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in over 50 years, which has led to border closures, mass cattle culling, and trade restrictions. The virus, which does not affect humans but causes fever and mouth blisters in cloven-hoofed animals, was found on a farm near the border with Austria and Slovakia.
