Hurricane Milton is expected to intensify into a major hurricane by Monday, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. Currently located west-northwest of Progreso, Mexico, Milton is approaching the Yucatan Peninsula, and is forecast to move across the Gulf of Mexico, potentially reaching the west coast of Florida by midweek.
