Hurricane Milton made landfall on Florida's west coast on Wednesday as a Category 3 storm, causing destruction, power outages, and tornadoes, with at least two reported deaths. The eye of the storm hit Siesta Key, and the storm is expected to cross the Florida peninsula and weaken before emerging into the Atlantic. Over 2 million homes and businesses are without power, and search-and-rescue teams are prepared to assist in recovery efforts.
