The International Criminal Court (ICC) has applied for arrest warrants against two Taliban leaders, including Haibatullah Akhundzada, the supreme spiritual leader, accusing them of crimes against humanity for persecuting women and girls, and those who do not conform to their ideological expectations of gender identity.
