💨 Abstract

India has been declared Trachoma-free by the World Health Organisation (WHO), making it the third country in the South-East Asia Region to achieve this milestone. Trachoma, a bacterial infection that can cause blindness, is found in underprivileged communities living in poor environmental conditions.
