💨 Abstract

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated as both countries exchanged military strikes. Pakistan's Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, stated that while nuclear options are not currently being considered, the conflict could widen beyond the region. The crisis began after India targeted terrorist launch pads in Pakistan, in response to a cross-border attack. India successfully thwarted Pakistan's subsequent drone strikes on vital installations. Pakistan claims its air bases were targeted.
