India and the US signed deals worth Rs 32,000 crore on Tuesday for the purchase of 31 Predator drones for the three services and establishing a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility in India. The deal was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Security last week, and the drones will be divided equally among the Air Force, Army, and Navy. The drones will be based at four possible locations in India.
