💨 Abstract
An Indian fisherman named Babu, son of Kana, passed away in a Karachi jail on January 23, despite completing his sentence and being confirmed as an Indian national. This is the 8th Indian fisherman to die in Pakistan in the last 2 years, with 180 fishermen awaiting release after serving their sentences. India has been repeatedly urging Pakistan to release these prisoners.
