An Indian-origin nurse, Achamma Cherian, suffered life-changing injuries after being stabbed with scissors at the Royal Oldham Hospital's Acute Medical Unit in Greater Manchester, UK. The attacker, Rumon Haque, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article. The nurse remains in critical condition, and the police continue to support the hospital and her colleagues during this difficult time.
