đź’¨ Abstract
Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto announced optimism about reaching net zero emissions by 2050, a decade ahead of the previous target. He also plans to retire all coal and fossil-fuel-fired power plants within the next 15 years and build 75 GW of renewable power plants within the same period. These commitments echo those made at COP29.
