💨 Abstract
Indonesia and France agreed on Friday to repatriate a Frenchman, Serge Atlaoui, who has been on death row in Indonesia for drug offenses since 2005. Atlaoui, suffering from cancer, will return to France on Feb. He was sentenced to death for being a chemist in an ecstasy factory in Jakarta, but has maintained his innocence, claiming he thought he was working in an acrylics factory.
