The UK's MI5 spy chief, Ken McCallum, accused Iran of being behind 20 potentially lethal plots in Britain since January 2022. Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, dismissed these accusations and accused the British of hosting "terrorist" groups, asking London to reconsider its policies towards Iran and West Asia.
