💨 Abstract
Islamist militants attacked a district police office in Bannu, Pakistan, killing three policemen, a civilian, and five attackers who were suicide bombers. The incident lasted hours, and the attack was claimed by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The attack occurred near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, approximately 350 km from Islamabad, where the Chinese Premier Li Qiang was visiting for a regional leaders' meeting.
