💨 Abstract

Israel has deployed a fourth army division into south Lebanon, escalating its ground offensive against Hezbollah, and may have eliminated the successor to the Iran-backed group's slain leader, Hashem Safieddine. Thousands of Israeli soldiers are now in Lebanon, as the Israeli military conducts "limited, localised, targeted operations" in Lebanon's southwest.
