Israel is preventing a search for senior Hezbollah leader Hashem Safieddine after bombing Beirut's southern suburbs, according to a Hezbollah official. Safieddine is speculated to be a successor to former leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli strike last September. Hezbollah is temporarily being jointly led and is taking time to choose a new leader.
