💨 Abstract
Israel has suggested that the United Nations peacekeeping force (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon should move north to avoid danger, as tensions with Hezbollah escalate. Israeli forces have already fired on several UN positions. Israel's UN Ambassador, Danny Danon, stated that Israel aims to push Hezbollah away from its northern border to allow approximately 70,000 residents to return to their homes in northern Israel.
