💨 Abstract
Israel's Ministry of Communications has announced that personal importation of security cameras and home entry cameras with doorbells will no longer require an application for an import permit. This decision also aims to allow commercial import of these products without prior approval in the future. Around 50,000 such cameras are expected to be imported in 2024, constituting 35% of the products requiring a personal import permit from the Ministry.
