💨 Abstract
An Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed at least two Palestinians and wounded several others. The strike targeted a Hamas militant who had directed attacks on Israeli troops. Earlier, Hamas militants had fired at Israeli soldiers. Separately, an Israeli-backed Palestinian militia killed two Hamas members in Rafah. Despite a ceasefire, sporadic violence continues, with over 400 Palestinians and three Israeli soldiers killed since October. Hamas maintains control over much of Gaza, while Israel holds other areas.
