💨 Abstract
Israel's security cabinet has recommended approving a Gaza ceasefire and hostage return deal, with the first phase expected to release 33 Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, followed by a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. The deal could ease hostilities in the Middle East and improve humanitarian conditions in Gaza, where over 46,000 people have been killed and the population displaced multiple times since 2008.
