💨 Abstract

An Israeli airstrike on a school in Gaza City sheltering displaced families killed seven people, including Majed Saleh, the director of the Hamas-run Public Works and Housing ministry. Israel claims it targeted Hamas fighters. This attack occurred amid increased violence in Gaza and between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, causing concern for wider regional unrest. Six other Palestinians were killed in separate airstrikes.
