Sikyong Penpa Tsering, a Tibetan politician in India, stated that the international media is not allowed to cover the earthquake in Tibet, where 126 casualties have been reported. Tsering expressed difficulty in confirming reports as only Chinese media agencies are reporting. He also organized a special prayer for the affected, but lacks contact with those in Tibet.
