💨 Abstract
Japan Airlines (JAL) experienced a cyberattack on Thursday, causing disruptions to domestic and international flights, and temporarily suspending same-day ticket sales. The attack affected internal and external systems, but no customer information was leaked. ANA Holdings, another major air carrier in Japan, reported no signs of an attack on its systems. American Airlines also recently faced a technical glitch, causing flight disruptions on Christmas Eve.
