Japan experienced a tourism boom in October, with a record 3.31 million visitors, driven by a weak yen. This exceeded the previous monthly record of 3.29 million set in July, and is close to the annual record of 31.9 million set in 2019. A total of 30.2 million tourists have visited Japan so far this year.
