💨 Abstract
Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya will attend Donald Trump's January 20 inauguration, making him the first Japanese cabinet member to attend a U.S. president's swearing-in. Iwaya was invited by Trump's camp and is expected to meet Senator Marco Rubio, Trump's pick for secretary of state. This will be Iwaya's first visit to the U.S. since becoming foreign minister in October.
