Kemi Badenoch, a self-proclaimed straight speaker, has been elected as the new leader of Britain's Conservative Party. Badenoch won the majority of votes among party members, aiming to reclaim the party's founding principles and win back voters lost in July's election, which marked the party's worst defeat. Former immigration minister Robert Jenrick came in second.
