💨 Abstract
Dutch airline KLM is facing a shortage of de-icing fluid at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport due to extreme cold weather, leading to thousands of flight cancellations over five days. KLM's 25 de-icing trucks have been in continuous use, consuming around 85,000 liters of fluid daily. The airline is scrambling to replenish supplies from Germany but has not specified when they might run out.
