Kris Kristofferson, an influential American singer-songwriter and actor, died on Saturday at the age of 88. He was a former Army officer, Rhodes scholar, and janitor at Columbia Records studio who penned hits like "Help Me Make It Through the Night" and "Me and Bobby McGee." A Renaissance man, he also had a successful film career and was known for his rugged good looks.
