💨 Abstract
Russian forces struck a medical center in Sumy, northeastern Ukraine, killing eight people, including during an evacuation. Ukrainian officials stated that the attacks occurred while there were 86 patients and 38 staff members in the hospital. The strikes were carried out by drones, according to regional authorities. These attacks on Sumy have increased since Ukraine launched an operation in Russia's Kursk region in August.
