💨 Abstract

Six simultaneous wildfires have devastated Los Angeles County, killing at least 10 people, destroying nearly 10,000 structures and causing a public health emergency. After days of fierce winds, firefighters reported progress in arresting the Palisades Fire on the western edge and the Eaton Fire in the east, with containment levels of 8% and 3% respectively.
