💨 Abstract

Wildfires in Los Angeles have been burning for six days, causing at least 24 deaths, destroying thousands of homes, and forcing 100,000 people to evacuate. The fires have consumed 37 square miles and 22 square miles of land, reducing neighborhoods to smoldering ruins. Firefighters are trying to contain the fires, but high winds are expected to return, posing a threat.
