💨 Abstract
Venezuela's opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado, plans to return home and is confident of winning a free election. She praised U.S. President Donald Trump for removing Nicolas Maduro but was disappointed that Trump wants to work with interim President Delcy Rodriguez. Machado claims her movement won a fraudulent 2024 election and will win over 90% in fair elections. Trump, however, believes the country needs stabilization before elections. Machado criticized Rodriguez for human rights abuses and corruption.
