Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu and his wife visited the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, on October 8 as part of a five-day state visit. Muizzu had earlier changed convention by visiting Turkey and China before India, and his government has taken unconventional steps in India-Maldives ties, including running a campaign against Indian presence.
