💨 Abstract
A train derailment in Oaxaca, Mexico, resulted in at least 13 deaths and 98 injuries. The Interoceanic Train, part of a strategic trade corridor project, was carrying 250 people. President Claudia Sheinbaum and local authorities are assisting the affected families, and an investigation has been launched. The train is part of a broader initiative to modernize rail links and stimulate economic development in southern Mexico.
