Mexico's Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard stated that Mexico will find a solution to avoid tariffs from the U.S., following threats from President-elect Donald Trump. Trump has promised tariffs if Mexico does not address migrant arrivals and drug entry. Ebrard compared the current trade tensions with previous negotiations, saying that despite U.S. threats in 2019, no tariffs or treaties were implemented.
